Pre-Thanksgiving Week

For some unexplained reason, we did not take any pictures at Thanksgiving. At least this time, it's not my fault:) So, all of these pictures come from the week (or weeks) before.

Happy Evan getting to hold Joshua

Sad Evan when Joshua is taken away.

Crazy story. On Wednesday, I was napping on the couch when I hear a car horn start beeping. I assumed Caden found my keys and was pressing the panic button. So, I keep telling Caden (with my eyes still closed) to bring me the keys. Then, there is a loud knock at the door. This poor older lady's car had just started smoking and honking at her. She stopped her car right in front of our house. As she called 911, her car quickly went up in flames. Luckily there is a fire station very near our neighborhood. It didn't take long to put out but her car's interior was completley ruined. She had AAA , which came promtly and her son was able to come pick her up. So all was safe. It did make me think about how much important info I have inside my car. And if I need to get out of my car that quickly, I'm not sure I would have what I needed. Something to think about and up-date my emergency plans.

"I want to pump-- you up!" We don't call him muscles for nothing.

Halloween fun!

This year, we had a family theme for costumes. Evan was a dragon. Caden was Sir Caden, the Good Knight. I was Princess Mommy (I tried to be a Queen, but Caden insisted that I was a Princess), and Brett was King Daddy. Brett carved the boys' pumpkins. Caden picked Superman and Evan is crazy about Thomas the Tank Engine. For Halloween, we always do the Trunk or Treat in the church parking lot. This year, we had to provide enough candy for 250+ kids. It's a great event for my little ones because you get a lot of candy in about 1/2 hour! Yippy!

Silly Boys

Evan is my mess-maker. He loves to play in the pantry, and he loves to be dirty!!

Here, Evan had a brief period of time where he really wanted to have his Spiderman swimmer diapers on. It started on the head and ended up in the correct area. And yes, we did go out in public like this.

By morning, everyone loves to be with Mommy.

Here is my almost Sunbeam! Sunbeam is the name of the kids that will turn 4 in the next calendar year at church. The Sunbeam class is the first time they get to come out of nursery and be with the bigger kids.
