Pre-Thanksgiving Week

For some unexplained reason, we did not take any pictures at Thanksgiving. At least this time, it's not my fault:) So, all of these pictures come from the week (or weeks) before.

Grandma's little helpers

Happy Evan getting to hold Joshua

Sad Evan when Joshua is taken away.

Crazy story. On Wednesday, I was napping on the couch when I hear a car horn start beeping. I assumed Caden found my keys and was pressing the panic button. So, I keep telling Caden (with my eyes still closed) to bring me the keys. Then, there is a loud knock at the door. This poor older lady's car had just started smoking and honking at her. She stopped her car right in front of our house. As she called 911, her car quickly went up in flames. Luckily there is a fire station very near our neighborhood. It didn't take long to put out but her car's interior was completley ruined. She had AAA , which came promtly and her son was able to come pick her up. So all was safe. It did make me think about how much important info I have inside my car. And if I need to get out of my car that quickly, I'm not sure I would have what I needed. Something to think about and up-date my emergency plans.

"I want to pump-- you up!" We don't call him muscles for nothing.

Ah, cute pictures! It sounds like Evan might just become as big a ham as his daddy. He and Caden are both looking so grown up. I understand Caden got to ride on Grandpa's Segway...what fun!

I'm sorry to hear about that lady. I'm glad she was alright!

I hope all is going well with you and the baby. We love you all!

I am impressed that you had enough though to get a picture of the car! Those thoughts often come too late for me. :)

After talking to Brett yesterday, I checked the website and watched the video that goes with your first picture. I could use a few helpers in picking up my own leaves -- any takers? ;)

Cute pictures. We were surprised to see our kids in the pictures too. Thanks for sharing. I didn't ever make it outside when they were doing the leaves, but cute. It's amazing how big your boys are getting.
